Group Breath Work
Call for Schedule

This group will instruct and facilitate group breath work for both beginners and experienced. Learn and practice using circular breathing for greater well-being of body, mind and spirit.

Integrative Breath-Work, sometimes referred to as Rebirthing Breath-Work, is simply a breathing technique. The technique was developed by Leonard Orr in the early to mid 1970s and later by Sondra Ray, but different forms of conscious breathing have been practiced in many cultures and disciplines throughout history as a means for purification and self-awareness. The name Rebirthing comes from the common effect of remembering and healing birth trauma. During a breath-work session you are guided to a fuller, freer, more energetic breath. This can increase energy, reduce stress, cleanse and purify. It also seems to often create a state that allows old thought patterns and memories to release, dissolving and healing trauma. Every session is unique, however some common experiences are relaxation, a sense of energy, heightened awareness, emotional release, release of birth and other significant trauma, and an overall feeling of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well being.

Elizabeth Ossip, MSW, LCSW, has been practicing Rebirthing Breath-work since 1987. She has facilitated groups and individual breath-work sessions for more than 20 years and has trained extensively with Sondra Ray and other predominant professionals in the field. Elizabeth’s groups and individual sessions continue to influence many local Breath-Work practitioners and individuals, She now brings her experience, in-depth knowledge and insightful, feminine spirituality, as well as her skills as an educator and counselor to this group.

A Course In Miracles
Call for Schedule

“This is a course in miracles. It is a required course. Only the time you take it is voluntary. Free will does not mean that you can establish the curriculum. It means only that you can elect what you want to take at a given time. The course does not aim at teaching the meaning of love, for that is beyond what can be taught. It does aim, however, at removing the blocks to the awareness of love's presence, which is your natural inheritance. The opposite of love is fear, but what is
all-encompassing can have no opposite. This course can therefore be summed up very simply in this way: Nothing real can be threatened. Nothing unreal exists. Herein lies the peace of God.” (ACIM)

This group will explore the text and workbook lessons in
A Course in Miracles, providing discussion, support and insight into this life-changing spiritual teaching and how to practice it daily
